The famous Swiss ‘Gruyère’ cheese is produced in this picturesque, medieval village. We recommend to visit La Maison du Gruyère - the local cheese diary - for a cheese tasting. You should also discover the impressive Gruyère Castle and take a ride with the cableway up to the top of one of the surrounding mountains.
