Continental
Continental breakfast: The local, high-quality breakfast buffet at the Hotel Continental is a real treat. In our hotel's own breakfast restaurant, you can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet of local and classic breakfast specialities every day. In our restaurant we serve a selection of fresh juices, various types of coffee, freshly baked rolls, bread and pastries, as well as Swiss meat and charcuterie specialities. In addition to the classic selection of cold meats and cheeses, our breakfast buffet also offers vegan alternatives such as lactose-free natural and fruit yoghurts, gluten-free muesli and freshly squeezed orange juice.
Away from our breakfast restaurant, Continental guests can enjoy an extended brunch, all-day snacks, lunch and coffee specialities throughout the day in a cosy atmosphere at Café Tartines - restaurant, bistro and café. The bistro is located on the ground floor with direct access from our hotel.
The best Italian specialities can be enjoyed à la carte or as half board in the Ristorante Bella Vita directly adjacent to our Hotel Continental. The traditional Italian restaurant offers original and authentic Italian cuisine, from antipasti and salads to homemade pasta, pizza and risotto, as well as meat and fish specialities.

Baked goods
We source our delicious baked goods from our local partner and artisan baker, La Boulangerie du Léman. This bakery and confectionery stands for high-quality products, respect for taste and tradition, and has many years of experience in applying artisanal working methods. Their goal is to ensure that customers and guests find authentic baked goods and locally produced bread. The bakery uses only raw materials from local crops, and the bread is made with IP-Suisse flour.
Charcuterie
We obtain our breakfast charcuterie from the Swiss family business Suter Viandes. The company has been in family hands since its foundation in 1872 and is deeply rooted in French-speaking Switzerland. The meat and sausage specialities are multi-certified, regional and home-made. Suter Viandes pays particular attention to tradition and the regional origin of its product ingredients.
Cheese
The Hauser company is a quality cheese dairy and excels in its field. The company and its production are located in the Vallée de Joux, in the village of Le Lieu. The cheese dairy receives milk from six co-operative farmers and five producers from the Alps. The fresh milk is delivered directly from the producers twice a day.
Coffee
We source our delicious coffee from The Coffee Society. The Coffee Society is the story of a team of enthusiasts who founded the Lausanne-based company in 2016 and have been offering speciality coffees in pure origin or in home-made blends ever since. Roasting is controlled and artisanal.

The Bella Vita pizzeria is located right next to our Hotel Continental. The traditional Italian cuisine is well worth a visit! Here Continental guests can enjoy authentic Italian dishes such as pizza, pasta, risotto and meat and fish specialities.
The restaurant is known for its family atmosphere and the use of fresh, seasonal products. As a guest of the Hotel Continental, you can enjoy a special half-board menu or Italian specialities à la carte in the Bella Vita restaurant. We will be happy to book half-board or a table for you.
